I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the honors college at the University of Michigan. I then worked in research at the University of Chicago, exploring treatments to help kids and teens suffering from disordered eating. Following that, I completed my Master’s and PhD in clinical psychology at the University of South Florida, specializing in disordered eating, body image, and weight loss. After finishing my training in Florida, I completed a predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship in behavioral medicine and clinical health psychology at the Medical University of South Carolina.
