Kayla Casper, LPC-A, CTP
Does anxiety or depression feel like an overbearing weight on your shoulders?
Struggling with anxiety and/or depression can make everyday life feel miserable. I help my clients learn that they have the power to separate themselves from their negative emotions. As your therapist, I will empower you, and we will work together so that you regain a sense of calmness and happiness in your life.
Has a recent or past trauma left you suffering and feeling stuck?
It can be extremely difficult to move forward once a traumatic event has occurred in our lives. I am a Certified Trauma Professional, and will provide you with tools and guidance that will help you overcome the obstacles you face. Additionally, we will work together to reduce the negative effects and emotions that come with trauma and will instead strive to restore peace and stability.
Have you turned to drugs and/or alcohol to cope with painful thoughts, feelings, or experiences?
Drugs and alcohol not only affects us physically, but also emotionally and mentally too. I provide my clients with a judgment-free space where we can really get to the root of their problems. Through our work together, I will guide you in learning how to cope in more effective ways that will leave you feeling better physically, emotionally, and mentally.
My goal as a therapist is to provide a warm space and a listening ear. I utilize approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based, and eclectic therapies. I view each client through a holistic lens and believe that wellness is achieved when there is a balance in one’s mind, body, and spirit. I am here to guide you on your journey to live a more rich, full, and meaningful life.
I specialize in the following areas:
- Anger Management
- Substance Abuse
- Mood Disorders
In addition to clients who are private-pay, I am currently in-network with the following insurances:
- Medicaid (Absolute Total Care, Blue Choice, First Choice/Select Health, Healthy Connections, Molina)
