Has your adolescent recently become moody, angry, or depressed, and you are unsure how to best communicate with them?
When you and your adolescent/teen cannot seem to understand each other, it can be frustrating just trying to get on the same page. Working together, I will help your adolescent learn how to process, regulate, and communicate their emotions in a healthy and effective way.
Does your child (4+) struggle with ADD/ADHD or behavioral issues?
As your child’s therapist, I will use a variety of approaches and techniques to assist with your child’s behavioral challenges. Together, we will understand underlying issues that may be a factor of their behavior, and help to strengthen the bond you have with your child.
Is anxiety and the daily stress of life so overwhelming that you just want to give up?
In today’s society, it is not uncommon to feel the daily pressures of life becoming too much to handle. As your therapist, I will provide you with the support and encouragement you need to work through this difficult season. During our time together, we will focus on effective and personalized ways to cope with stress, which will allow you to have a more positive outlook on life and to feel better overall.
I have a passion for helping family’s and individuals grow stronger. In addition to the above, I have conducted outpatient therapy for adolescent and adult individuals with mental health disorders and dual diagnosis’. I am in the process of becoming certified as a Play Therapist, which has been shown to be very effective in helping children work through life struggles and transitions.
