She is an amazingly patient counselor when dealing with my children’s issues.
Julie Mahoney, LPC-A
Is your child/adolescent acting out? Is their behavior leaving you stressed and feeling lost?
I am passionate about working with children and the belief “All behavior has a purpose” – Alfred Alder. We will work together to understand where their behavior is stemming from, and how we can move forward to instill lasting change in their behavior and emotional health and well-being.
Has your child/adolescent suffered from a traumatic event? Are you unsure of how to help them?
It can be extremely painful to watch your child suffer and feel helpless in the process. I am certified in Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and will serve as a guide for your child’s therapeutic journey. Together, we will help your child to overcome, and get back to a place of peace and happiness.
Do you feel that the relationship you have with your child/adolescent is damaged? Are you looking to repair the relationship and not sure where to begin?
A child’s secure relationship with their caregiver is the most powerful tool towards relational healing and developmental repair. Working together, we will facilitate a prosperous relationship between you and your child that will strengthen your bond and lead to less conflict overall.
I’m a non-judgmental, compassionate professional equipped with experience working with young children, adolescents, and their families. I will be in-network with private insurance starting 10/1.
I am not “in-network” with any insurance companies which means you pay my full fee up front and then I will submit a claim to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Our administrative staff can check your out-of-network benefits before you start therapy to see what the coverage would be for our sessions.
If you have questions or are ready to begin counseling, contact us today. Don’t continue to feel alone in your struggles, we are here to help.
PREVIOUS CLIENT’S FEEDBACK
With their permission, here are some experiences of past clients…
Meeting Julie was such an easy first meeting and my daughter was immediately comfortable speaking to her and gained some immediate trust. We both look forward to working with Julie.
Julie has this open spirit and I am delighted that she is working with my daughter. My daughter does not communicate with anyone, but on the first session she opened up to Julie. Thank God for Julie. The first day was progress.
