Ellen Mitchell, LISW-CP
Are you having a difficult time managing a work-life balance and it is becoming too stressful and overwhelming?
When you are unhappy with your job, or it becomes too demanding, it can cause serious strain on other parts of your life. As your therapist, I will work with you to identify strategies you can use to cope with your busy work life, while still maintaining a positive outlook.
Is a past traumatic event weighing you down and affecting your relationship with yourself and/or others?
Experiencing a traumatic event or period in your life can create unique challenges and impact your relationships with others. As someone who specializes in trauma, I have unique training that will help you process and work through the trauma you have experienced. Additionally, we will work to understand why parts of your life are being affected, and help to build an overall healthier relationship with yourself and others.
Have you been struggling with anxiety and/or depression and are ready to make some changes?
When unwanted or intrusive thoughts along with physical symptoms arise, anxiety and/or depression can severely hinder your ability to get through the day. I will listen to understand what you are experiencing, and provide you with the support and encouragement you need. Together, we will identify your strengths and work toward a brighter and more positive frame of mind.
Therapy allows for a unique and non-judgmental listening environment where clients are able to safely share more about themselves and their experiences in life. Throughout our time together, personal growth will take place as we discover and define your strengths. Past clients have described me as warm, authentic, and compassionate.
I specialize in the following areas:
- Work-Related Issues

In addition to clients who are private pay, I am in-network with the following insurance:
