Anne White, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Have you suffered a traumatic event, and are struggling to move forward?

Even though trauma impacts your life journey, it should never dictate your direction. In our work together, I will partner with you to set goals for the future, teach you methods to move forward, point out behavioral patterns you may not be aware of, and will rely on you to invest in the process. I want my clients to know that with commitment and hard work, change and healing are possible.

Is your child or teen struggling and you’re feeling unsure of how to make progress?

I have extensive experience working with children between the ages of 5-12 with acute behavioral problems, aggression, and inattention.

Are you stuck in a relationship or family situation causing you strife or anxiety?

I also work with adults, couples, and families dealing with a wide variety of issues, from death to divorce to simply feeling overwhelmed by daily life.

I have an eclectic approach that pulls from a variety of theories in a way that best suits the individual client and believe therapy should be solution-focused.

I also frequently work with clients in the following areas:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Grief and Loss
  • Stress/Life Transitions

In addition to clients who are private pay, I am in-network with the following insurance companies:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (all plans)
  • United Healthcare

With their permission, here are some experiences of former clients…

I have a hard time opening up to anyone, but Anne has a calming nature. It was easy to open up to her.

Anne was very sweet and sympathetic to us, she listened and made jokes with us at appropriate times which was good for us to laugh.

This was my first experience with counseling, and she put me at ease quickly.
