“When we deny the story, it defines us. When we own the story, we can write a brave new ending.” –Brené Brown
Are you tired of feeling out of control, constantly struggling with indecision or worry?
Are you feeling stuck or unsure of where your life is leading you?
Our lives can be messy and unpredictable but learning ways to silence our inner critic and reframe our thoughts can help clear a new path for self-compassion and personal growth.
I practice using a holistic and integrative approach. I incorporate strengths-based, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy perspectives to initiate change in a positive, empathetic way.
I believe in a collaborative approach to addressing your needs and providing you with the space to empower yourself. Our work together will focus on exploring the strengths and vulnerabilities that can help you conquer your past, present, and future challenges.
Is your child having difficulty at home or in school? Is your child struggling with their behavior, emotional control, feelings of anxiousness or depression?
My work with children and adolescents includes trauma, ADHD, learning disabilities, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and behavioral issues. I find using a child-centered, strengths-based approach incorporating art and play therapy to be helpful tools in navigating these concerns and identifying solutions they can use in their day-to-day lives.
I received my masters in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University. I have a Certificate in Graduate Studies in Nutrition Science from Tufts University specializing in developing health communities by initiating positive behavioral changes and understanding how nutrition relates to our body and mind. I also have a Certificate in Yoga as Therapy and can use this in my practice as a tool to help support emotional health and healing and teach relaxing and mindful ways to address stress, anxiety, and depression.
In addition to clients who are private pay, I am in-network with the following insurance companies:
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield (all plans)
- United Healthcare
