Our administrative staff is available from 8am-6pm weekdays. During these hours, you can call, text, send us an email or use the instant message option on this page to get in touch. If we are with another client, our goal is to get back to you within one hour. After hours or on weekends, leave us a message in any format and we will get back to you first thing the next business day.
Your First Appointment
Research shows that up to 60% of the success in therapy is due to the fit between therapist and patient. We will carefully determine the best match for you and make sure you feel comfortable and informed before your initial visit. We will send you all necessary paperwork prior to your intake as well as directions to your location. At the first appointment, your therapist will get to know you, your struggles and your goals and begin designing a treatment plan to get the results you want. Throughout the process, your clinician will solicit your feedback about how therapy is working.
Payments & Insurance
Using Health Insurance
Insurance coverage for mental health sessions can differ from the rest of your medical policy. Our administrative staff is happy to contact your company and find out exactly what your benefits will cover and any exact cost for each session (deductibles that might apply, co-pays, co-insurance, etc.).
We are currently in-network with the following insurance companies:
- Medicaid (Healthy Connections, Absolute Total Care, First Choice, Blue Choice, and Molina)
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield (including the SC state plan, Federal BCBS, Thomas Cooper, PAI, BlueChoice and most out-of-state BCBS plans)
- United Healthcare

If we are not in-network for your plan, we will still submit a claim for each session. Typically it will reduce your out-of-network deductible or you may receive reimbursement for a portion of the session fee.
